Electronic Home Monitoring (EHM)

Electronic Home Monitoring (EHM) is an alternative to incarceration that allows eligible individuals to serve their court-ordered sentence while confined to their residence. Participation in EHM is a privilege, not a right.

The Court determines the length of an EHM sentence. There is no earned good time credit while on EHM. EHM is considered home confinement, and activities will be limited or restricted during the sentence. All outside activities must be pre-approved by program staff.  Eligibility for Electronic Home Monitoring is determined by the Court and/or supervising authority. Participation is contingent upon compliance with all program requirements, including payment of fees and adherence to monitoring conditions.

Program Fees

• Individuals ordered to EHM equipment and monitoring are charged $25.00 per day.
• Individuals ordered to Remote Breath Alcohol Monitoring are charged $25.00 per day.
• Payments are accepted by cash, money order, or cashier’s check. Personal checks are NOT accepted.
• Individuals serving 14 days or more on EHM or Remote Breath must pay for the first 14 days of fees at or before intake. If serving 14 days or less, full payment is required at the time of intake.
• Program fees are assessed weekly, and payment is required each week until the full amount is paid for the sentence length.
• Failure to maintain payments may result in program termination. Full payment is accepted at any time during the sentence.

Court-Ordered Chemical Testing

Chemical testing is available at the Law Enforcement Center from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM, Monday through Friday.

Cost

• Urinalysis (UA): $15.00 per test
• Preliminary Breath Test (PBT): $5.00 per test
